Trish works everyday with our most vulnerable population, serving abused and neglected children in our courts. She has worked steadfastly to secure grant revenue to ensure we have funding to continue operations for our CAC and Supervised Visitation Programs. Because of her efforts to maintain standards of services, we have national affiliations with organizations to assist in maintaining the legacy we have established.

Since the CAC’s move to Mary Lee’s House, Lisa has taken on a role which has linked her more and more with multi-disciplinary team members using the CAC services. She has had in-sight to the needs of team members and consistently goes the extra mile to make sure those needs are met. Lisa gathers and disseminates information on behalf of the team and has brought new innovative reporting formats to the group. Based on her reports, team members can easily track gaps in services and gather information to report at case review meetings. Lisa sees things through the eyes of an organizer and consistently puts systems in place for others to emulate. Lisa serves as an organizational role model and is an inspiration to the group performing consistently with a positive attitude.

Chapter 39 of the Florida Statutes (F.S.) mandates that any person who knows, or has reasonable cause to suspect, that a child is abused, neglected, or abandoned by a parent, legal custodian, caregiver, or other person responsible for the child's welfare shall immediately report such knowledge or suspicion to the Florida Abuse Hotline of the Department of Children and Families.
September 22, 2010 CJC Provides School Supplies to Children
The CJC purchased school supplies with $700.00 worth of Target gift cards sponsored by Verizon and the National Children’s Alliance. The grant, through the National Children’s Alliance, gave the opportunity to make going back to school a little easier for CJC children who have recently been moved from their normal settings as the backpacks were filled with school supplies for them.
