About Court Strategic Planning Unit

History

As part of the Administrative Office of Courts' reorganization in 2012, functions within Research & Development and the Office of Public Information were shifted to the newly established Strategic Planning Unit. Court Operations absorbed the function of Public Information, while the multimedia services were retained within the Strategic Planning Unit. 

Description

The Strategic Planning Unit evaluates and adjust court operations, court programs and business functions to improve processes, create efficiencies and conserve public money. In addition to tasks related to addressing strategic issues within the organization and courts, major functions include:

·       Program Evaluation and Performance Monitoring,

·       Professional Writing and Informational Development,

·       Resource Development,

·       Data Analysis, Trend Monitoring and Reporting, and

·       Training & Professional Development.
