Circuit Civil, Division G

All proceedings in Division O are conducted in person. Because of the nature of our docket and hearings, we are not able to offer appearances by Zoom. If you cannot appear in person, please contact chambers by phone or email. We make every effort to accommodate attorneys, parties, victims, and witnesses, and we welcome inquiries.

All DCM hearings are conducted via Zoom.

If counsel agrees to the prescribed trial period set forth in the DCMO, counsel may email the Judicial Assistant at DIVG@FLJUD13.ORG to request a time-certain pre-trial date and time to be included in the Pre-Trial Order. 

  • Submit the Pre-Trial Order through the e-portal after the pre-trial date and time have been
  • Email the Judicial Assistant to request removal of the DCM hearing from the
  • Use the Pre-Trial Order form available on the Court’s
  • Do not use the Amended DCMO. Use the Trial Order
  • If additional space is needed to include deadlines, attach an extra
  • All pre-trials are conducted via Zoom. Do not appear in
  • Jury selection is typically scheduled for the Friday preceding the trial

The preparation of the Trial Order and submission through the e-portal for the Court’s signature is the responsibility of Plaintiff’s counsel.

  • Cases filed in 2023 or earlier: The Motion to Continue must be set for hearing on the UMC or CMC
  • Cases filed in 2024 or later: The Motion to Continue may be prepared and emailed to DIVG@FLJUD13.ORG. The Judicial Assistant will review the motion with the Judge and provide further guidance.
  • Do not prepare or submit a new Trial Order unless and until the Court grants the continuance and authorizes issuance of a new Trial Order.

All hearings shall be held via videoconference until further order from the Court. The court will enter an order with all the information. If you need to cancel a hearing within 24 hrs. of the hearing or to advise that case has settled, email divisiong@fljud13.org . If you have an emergency, please file an emergency motion with the clerk's office.

COVID-19

Because of the restrictions occasioned by COVID-19, and consistent with the 13th Circuit guidelines as posted on https://www.fljud13.org, and numerous administrative orders of the Florida Supreme Court, most recently AOSC20-23, as amended, issued May 4, 2020, there will be no in-person hearings in Circuit Civil Division G until further notice. EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2021, ALL HEARINGS WILL BE HELD VIA ZOOM unless otherwise ordered by the Judge. Please refer to the Zoom information for Division G listed below:

The Zoom Help Center is at https://support.zoom.us. Counsel wishing to have a court reporter are to make the necessary arrangements for the court reporter’s participation. The scheduling party for each proceeding is required to ensure that all parties are aware of this directive.

If joining the hearing via telephone, call 1-786-635-1003 or 1-470-381-2552 and then use the same meeting ID number referenced above. No additional password is required for attendance. Rather, you will be placed in the ZOOM “waiting room” until the Judge “joins” you into the meeting when the hearing commences.

Beginning October 1, 2020: Proposed Orders Are To Be Submitted via Florida e-Portal

Jaws will no longer accept proposed orders directly as of October 1, 2020. Orders must be uploaded through the e-Portal in PDF format in order for them to be placed in the Court’s work queue. Any questions please direct them to e-Portal Help Desk at: (850) 577-4609 for assistance. The court will not sign, conform and distribute paper orders until further notice.
