Division HT was established pursuant to Thirteenth Circuit Administrative Order S-2023-019.  Cases in Division HT were transferred pursuant to an Order to Transfer to Division HT & Stay (the “Division HT Order”).  The Division HT Order provides important information.  If you have not read it already, please do so. The Division HT judicial assistant is also assigned to another full-time standard letter division.  Before you contact her with a question, please first read the Division HT Order and confirm that it does not answer your question.  The Division HT judicial assistant will not provide you legal advice about what you may or may not file in Division HT.

The Division HT Order:

  • Identifies a date on which the stay will automatically expire (the “Automatic Expiration Date”) in each case in Division HT.  Parties should identify which Automatic Expiration Date applies to their case and calendar that deadline and be prepared to proceed in accordance with the Division HT Order;
  • Provides a procedure by which a party may request that the stay be lifted prior to the Automatic Expiration Date;
  • Specifies which forms should be used when seeking relief from the stay prior to the Automatic Expiration Date (see “Forms” tab); and
  • Makes clear that sanctions may be entered if a party engages in certain docket activity during the time that the case is stayed.

Please do not contact the judicial assistant unless and until you have read the Division HT Order and reviewed the forms. All contact with the Division HT judicial assistant should be by email only.
