Important Notice Regarding Administrative Order S-2024-021: 

Administrative Order S-2024-021, promulgated by the Chief Judge of the Thirteenth Circuit and applicable to all Circuit Civil divisions, establishes requirements that apply to your case.  Please familiarize yourself and your office staff with this order.

SUBMITTING PROPOSED ORDERS

Proposed Orders that are agreed upon by the parties can be submitted to the Judge for signature through the Florida ePortal as a “PDF” formatted document. It is the responsibility of the attorney to provide copies of electronically signed orders to any pro se parties. 

 

Proposed Orders that are NOT agreed upon by the parties, or competing orders, should be submitted to the Judicial Assistant by email and attached as a “WORD” formatted document, which will be forwarded to the Judge upon receipt of both proposed competing orders.

 

If a party is pro se and does not have an email address associated with the case, the attorney will be responsible for mailing copies of the order to pro se parties.


CANCELLATION OF HEARING

When a non court ordered hearing or other court appearance needs to be cancelled, a Notice of Cancellation MUST be immediately e-filed with the Clerk of Court AND a courtesy copy of said Notice of Cancellation emailed to the division at circivdive@fljud13.org.  If your hearing is more than 24 hours out, the scheduling party is responsible for cancelling the hearing in JAWS.
