Process Server Renewals
Process Server renewals may be completed in person or by mail. Process Servers who wish to complete their renewal by mail, may email the application update, background check form, current insurance policy and the receipt for payment to cornelcm@fljud13.org, and the renewal Certification ID will be mailed to Process Server. Fees are only accepted by the Clerk of the Circuit Court and may be payable in person or by telephone.
1. Payment of the $60 renewal fee may be made to the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Payment may be made over the phone to the Clerk's office. Please contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court to make the renewal fee payment by calling (813) 276-8100 and advise them that you are calling to make a payment for Certified Process Server Renewal. The Clerk's office will email you the receipt, which I will need before I can process your renewal. The Clerk of Circuit Court is only processing renewal payments over the phone at this time. NO ONLINE PAYMENTS.
2. You may fill out the Renewal Application Form and Background Check form located online under the Forms page of the website: https://www.fljud13.org/CourtPrograms/CertifiedProcessServers/Forms.aspx.
3. Email the following documents to cornelcm@fljud13.org: (a) a copy of the receipt for payment of the $60 renewal fee; (b) the renewal application form; (c) a completed background check form; and (d) a copy of your current insurance policy.
Upon receipt of all documents above, your renewal ID card will be mailed by U.S. Mail to the business address located on the Renewal Application form, unless you request it be mailed to different address.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ALLOW FOR PROCESSING AND MAIL TIME. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO RENEW YOUR CERTIFICATION.
