Scheduling (over 10 minutes)

Effective March 3, 2008:
All communication between counsel or parties and chambers must be handled thru the Division A e-mail address: famlawdiva@fljud13.org

The case number and last name of the petitioner must appear first on the e-mail’s subject line (“08-DR-001234 DOE”), with the motion and the amount of hearing time needed in the text area. The Judicial Assistant will respond with available times. All e-mails must be copied to the opposing counsel or party.

The reply must state that the requesting party has communicated with the other side and that they both agree to the specified time. An e-mail will be sent either confirming the hearing time or giving alternative selections if the requested time is no longer available.

File original motions and notices of hearing with the clerk’s office.

Chambers’ copies of motions and notices are no longer required. The Judicial Assistant will obtain the court file for the hearing.
