ATTORNEYS’  11:30 AM  OPEN DOCKET -  10 MINUTES: 
Uncontested Final Hearings and Uniform Motion Calendar Hearings

• The following limitations will be observed:
• 10 minutes maximum allowed per case
• No witnesses or evidentiary hearings
• No adoptions
• Telephonic appearances are not allowed on the open docket.
• Open docket hearings are not scheduled through the JCalendar.
• Choose any date from the list below, coordinate with opposing counsel.
• Order the file from the clerk (via the link provided) at least two days before the hearing.
• ORDER FILE FROM CLERK
• Copies of motion and notice of hearing should not be provided to chambers in advance but should be brought to the hearing.
• There is no sign-up sheet. Cases are called in the order the files were requested from the clerk.
• CANCELLATIONS:  It is not necessary to notify the court of cancellations.  If the other party is not timely notified, counsel may be held responsible for any unnecessary fees or costs encountered.

FOR SCHEDULING OVER 10 MINUTES:

All communication between counsel or parties and chambers must be handled thru the Division A  e-mail address:   famlawdiva@fljud13.org

• All e-mails must be copied to the opposing counsel or party.
• The case number and last name of the petitioner must appear first on the e-mail’s subject line.
• The motion and amount of hearing time requested must appear in the text area.
• The Judicial Assistant will respond with available times.
• Only one response is needed, stating the mutually agreeable time; the court does not coordinate between parties.
• The court will forward confirmation of the hearing time or give alternative selections.
• File original motions and notices of hearing with the clerk’s office.
• Chambers’ copies of motions and notices are no longer required.
• The Judicial Assistant will obtain the court file for the hearing.
