"When describing my life after drug court I would have to say, I am now drug-free. I am passing my classes in school and began extra-curricular activities. I was confronted by underlying issues, such as depression, and got those treated. However, I think the biggest change I have made is choosing friends who do not use drugs/alcohol." - Kayla
"...being sent to residential is what I think helped me out the most. They got me to see what is important and what is not. Through there I was able to learn discipline and self respect.... I feel I win because I put all of this in my future and use it when I need it. I would like to thank the Drug Court for all it has done...." -Justin
"...I have been able to fall off track and rebound myself to a full recovery of say that I have really stop smoking to better myself and my future and I'm very proud of myself to exactly tell people that yes I did fall off but I got right back up on my two feet..." -Uria
"...I learned not to give into peer pressure to take drugs to relieve the stress.... I've learned to make better choices to hang out with people who are sober and a good influence on me.... "Goodwill has helped me break my addiction to marijuana. It has help me get closer with my family... Now since I've gone through the program and court system I've changed my friends and my life around.... Since I've completed the program it's brought me success in finding a job, making money, and most importantly responsibilities.... I've learned short-term effects I didn't know like messed up vision and increased heart rate. THC impairs the immune system's ability to fight disease...." -Sean
"What I have learned from the Juvenile Drug Court program is that I can live life without drugs and still have fun with friends... I know now that I want to be sober and not do drugs anymore because it just gets in the way...." -Chris
"....I'm at that point in my life that I need to focus on getting things in my life straight. I am more mature now and can see that drugs do absolutely nothing for you; they don't help you graduate or get a job.... Juvenile Drug Court has changed my point of view and outlook on life." -Jessica
