BACKGROUND

Prior to taking the bench, Judge Elizabeth G. Rice was a shareholder in the Tampa office of

Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A., where she concentrated her practice

primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and insolvency matters.
