Complex Business Litigation Division Established for certain business litigation. The business case must fall into one of two categories:
The litigation must be between business persons or entities and the amount in controversy must be greater than $150,000; or
without regard to the amount in controversy, the business litigation must relate to internal affairs or governance of the business, trade secrets, non-compete agreements, intellectual property or several other areas set forth in Administrative Order S-2008-105.

• Track 1 – Business Expedited (within 13 months);
• Track 2 – Business Standard (within 18 months); or
• Track 3 – Business Complex (within 24 months).
Check out Administrative Order S-2008-105 for more details on how this division, which Judge Richard Nielsen will preside over, operates.
